Didn't expect to find this at the Hill AFB museum

Hill AFB has a museum and I had some time to kill. I knew it had a couple of F-4s, even an RF-4, so I had to pay respects to the Phantoms on sticks.

Imagine my surprise to see this hulk out front. I flew this type of aircraft while as an instructor at NAS Pensacola. They were stretched, painted Navy training orange and white, and had an F-16 radar stuffed in the nose. I think the navy is still flying these old bucket of bolts.

I'll post photos of the F-4s later. I've gotta run and do some work for my helpless F-22 pilots for tomorrow's JDAM drops and the flight home later this week.
